Bizfy360 is an offline-first point-of-sale, stock and credit-book app for small shops, operated by Africa One Group ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app and our servers collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Bizfy360 you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Your account: the mobile phone number you sign in with, your name, your role, and your PIN (kept only as a salted one-way hash — we never store the PIN itself).
- Your business data: the shops, products, prices, stock counts, sales, cash-ups and reports you record in the app.
- Your customers' details: when you use the credit book, the customer names and phone numbers you choose to enter so the app can track balances and, if you turn it on, send payment reminders.
- Device and security data: the phone name you give a device, basic device and app-version information for support, and request metadata (such as IP address and time) used to keep the service secure and to prevent abuse.
How we use information
- To sign you in with a one-time code sent by SMS, and to keep your account secure.
- To provide the app's features: selling, stock, the credit book, cash-ups and reports.
- To send messages you switch on (debt reminders to your customers) and security alerts to owners (for example when a new phone is added or a web sign-in happens).
- To protect the service against fraud and abuse, and to enforce plan limits.
Text messages (SMS)
Sign-in codes, reminders and alerts are delivered through third-party SMS providers in the countries where we operate. They receive the recipient's phone number and message so they can deliver it.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information or your customers'. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run Bizfy360 — the SMS gateways above and our hosting provider — and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
- Mobile-money providers (MTN, Airtel), only if you choose to pay for a plan or accept a payment through them, to process that transaction.
- Authorities, if we are required to by law.
Your customers' information
Information you enter about your customers is yours. As the shop, you are responsible for collecting it fairly and for having a basis to contact those customers. We process it on your behalf to provide the features you use, such as the reminders you enable.
Storage and security
- Data is stored on secure servers, with each business's data isolated from every other business.
- All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- PINs are stored only as salted hashes.
- Because the app works offline, a copy of your own business data is also stored on your device so you can keep selling without a connection.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business data while your account is active. One-time sign-in codes are deleted within about a day. You can ask us to delete your account and its data.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask a question about this policy, using the contact details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Bizfy360 is a business tool and is not directed at children.
Data protection
We register with the data-protection authorities in the countries where we operate, as required, and handle personal data in line with applicable data-protection laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be communicated in the app.
